Remenham has the help of Steve Allender in keeping its footpaths, lanes and pavements free of litter, but individually Remenham Parish Council wondered whether some of us may want to do more to monitor the health and state of a small section of these byways under an Adopt-a-Street scheme.
If there is sufficient interest, Wokingham Borough Council/Remenham Parish Council will provide high visibility jackets to any volunteer. If needed, gloves/litter pickers/bags (collected as part of usual Monday collection) can be provided.
The following are some of Remenham’s byways (in sections for the longer ones). If you wanted to adopt-a-byway or a section of one (avoiding duplication of effort) from March 2018 then please contact the Parish Clerk (psermon@btinternet.com).
