Remenham Parish Hall was given to the parishioners of Remenham by Viscount Hambleden in 1913. It is a traditional brick and flint building situated in a quiet cul-de-sac behind the Church and within 100 metres of the River and the Royal Regatta reach. There is disabled access to the hall and all its facilities. We have Wi-fi.
The hall is set in a large walled garden with parking facilities and is the perfect setting for weddings, children’s parties up to age 12, meetings, classes, shows, lunches, suppers, family gatherings, etc.

Our address is:
Remenham Parish Hall/Remenham Parish Church,
Remenham Lane, Remenham, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 3DD
Our village defibrillator is fixed on the front wall of the Parish Hall Store facing the lane. The instructions on the casing are to phone 999, ask for Ambulance, tell them where you are as detailed on bottom right hand side of the defibrillator, i.e. “Remenham Parish Hall, RG9 3DD”and they will give a code to open the box. Lift out the defibrillator if needed to take elsewhere. The Ambulance people will talk through the instructions until help arrives.
We have many enquiries for children’s parties which take place in the large secure walled garden, sometimes with bouncy castles (or with bouncy castle inside the hall itself in the winter
months!).
We have family get togethers with friends and families travelling from far and wide to meet for the whole day in the garden at Remenham Parish Hall as they so enjoy this beautiful area, just a
few minutes walk from the River Thames. In addition, we have wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations, yoga retreat days, dog training sessions (which have been held by the same trainer
for
many years) and the Henley Arts and Crafts Guild hold classes/workshops.
The Women’s Institute meetings are held monthly in the hall.
Parish Council Meetings take place monthly.
The Annual Fete is held at the beginning of September in the garden and the hall, there are occasional Quiz Nights, Talks, and a meal celebrating Harvest Festival. This year, of course, there
will also be a special event to celebrate H.M. King Charles III’s Coronation.
Midsomer Murders have used Remenham Parish Hall on several occasions and this Spring will see the most recent occasion when the church and hall were used for parts of the final episode ever
of the Endeavour series.
The Parish Hall Committee are always looking for new ideas for events and would welcome suggestions to remenhamhall@remenhamparish.org.uk.
