Join us for an afternoon of traditional village fun, delicious treats, and friendly competition! Bring the whole family, your dogs and your neighbours for a fantastic afternoon out.

 

? Date: Sunday 6th September

⏰ Time: 2pm – 5pm

? Location: Remenham Parish Hall

 

? What’s On?

 

There is plenty to see, do, eat, and drink throughout the afternoon!

  • Food & Drink: Bar, BBQ, and mouth-watering Teas & Cakes ???

  • Fun & Games: Coconut Shy, Splat the Rat, Kids Games, Fun Races, and the grand finale: Tug of War! ?

  • Stalls & Displays: Bric-a-Brac, Local Craft Stalls, Bottle Tombola, Raffle, and a taster of the fascinating Remenham History Exhibition.

? The Dog Show

 

Run by Carol and the team from Woofits Walkies

Bring along your four-legged friends and show off their charm, skill, and speed!

  • Start Time: 3pm (Please register your dog at the desk in good time)

  • Classes:

    1. Most Fabulous Fella

    2. Fastest Sausage Catcher

    3. Best Trick

    4. Loveliest Lady

  • Entry Fee: £2 per class (capped at a maximum of £5 per dog for multiple entries)

How to Enter: Bring your entries to the tent in the garden on the day and fill out a registration form for each entry..

⏰ Judging: Starts at 3pm

? Winners Announced: 3.45pm

Class A – Fruits & Vegetables

  • Class 1: Mammoth Vegetable

  • Class 2: Bouquet Garni

  • Class 3: 3 Homegrown Fruits or Vegetables

Class B – Floral Displays

  • Class 4: An Arrangement from the Hedgerow

  • Class 5: A Single Rose in a Vase

  • Class 6: Floral Display

Class C – Baking & Cooking

  • Class 7: 5 Jam Tarts (Children’s Class)

  • Class 8: Victoria Sponge

  • Class 9: Jar of Homemade Preserves

Class D – Arts & Crafts

  • Class 10: Drawing or Painting of a Person

  • Class 11: Drawing or Painting of an Animal (Children’s Class)

  • Class 12: Photograph, Painting, or Drawing showing Remenham’s Natural Beauty

? Bottle Tombola - Donations Needed

Please start setting aside any bottles you can spare for our popular tombola!

? Bric-a-Brac Donations

We are gratefully accepting donations for the Bric-a-Brac stall!

  • Drop-off to Pat Sly: Contact Pat on 01491 577925 or patsly7@gmail.com to arrange a drop-off at Old Blades 

  • Drop-off at the Hall: You can also drop donations directly to Remenham Parish Hall on Friday 4th September or Saturday 5th September, please contact Pat to arrange access

? Volunteers Wanted!

A big thank you to everyone who has already signed up to help! Many hands make light work, and we are still looking for volunteers to assist with, set up, clear down and doing a shift on a stall on the day.
